Hello friends and visitors,

I am currently seeking artists of the "Dark" variety to showcase on one of my blogs. It is dedicated solely to Dark Art, in its many varied forms.

The formats I've had thus far includes digital, mixed media, painting, sketching, photography, sculpture, animation, and video projects. However, I'm open to any and all types of art and expression, as long as I find it fits the theme of the blog itself.

I'm interested most particularly in the artists themselves suggesting their own work, but I'm not opposed to tips and suggestions of others you may find interesting and noteworthy.

However, there are two points I want to clarify--

First: I put a great deal of effort and research into the Features I present and this entails specific details of the artist, their influences, the things that shape their particular vision, and, hopefully, experiences in their life and childhood, etc. that are represented or expressed in the art.

Second: All of my Features have never had, and will never have, any influence or coercion from others as to which pieces I showcase, and which ones I don't. Of course, I am open to someone letting me know what their favorite pieces are to them personally; but frankly, if it does not move me, I'm not going to feature that specific piece.

This blog, and indeed, my taste and admiration for any art, is something I take very seriously and I'm not the type of person "into" something just because it is popular, or in vogue, at the moment. If I like it, I like it, if I don't, then no amount of persuasion is going to change my gut instinct.

Please keep this in mind if I decide not to post one particular piece you've insisted on, or two.
